Dear VBHA Family,
We finally made it to the most wonderful time of the year!!! By now, I am sure most of you have noticed the Winter Wonderland taking shape around our Community Center and branching out into our neighborhoods! For me, this is a dream three years in the making and it has been so amazing to watch it take shape. We are still working and improving, so keep watching. We aren't going to make it to every yard this year, but we will continue to expand until Santa himself wants to spend Christmas here!
Speaking of Santa... it's almost time for his arrival! Santa's Mailbox goes up soon, so be sure you are picking up the forms and writing those letters! You just never know what that jolly 'ol elf might come up with!
As this year closes and we look forward to 2026, I wanted to make sure each of you know how thankful I am to have spent another year as your Executive Director, and how grateful I am that you have been a part of my own journey. For many of us, we have worked together this year to overcome some ridiculous obstacles. I learned so much from you during the tornado recovery, and I could not be more proud of our community and the beauty the followed the disaster. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for being here and teaching me along the way.
We have so many opportunities coming in 2026 and I have never felt more excited or positive about the good things we're working toward! I hope that we are all able to work together to make this our best year so far!
Dayna Cochran
Executive Director
